Dear Fave,
Beauty, they say comes with a price; But how many good things don't?
Having a positive result is truly encouraging when it has to do with skin health. Whether it's on your skin, someone you know or a loved one, beautiful skin has a positive impact on the psyche of every individual. Sharing my updated skincare routine is based on expertise, experience, and trial, but most definitely involves consistency and zeal. You can instantly tell if a product is right for your skin based on instincts. Beautiful skin is tied to a healthy lifestyle, in all aspects. Based on paying the price for beauty, it would have to be financially, or/and time-consuming. I must also mention that as true as having patience is a required key when dealing with skin health and it's care, the truth is like any food or drink choice; one is meant to make You can instantly tell if a product is right for your skin based on instincts; However to really know if it's good enough, you have to try it on. DAILY SKIN ROUTINE I won’t follow the routines projected on social media or even from me dearly if I were you, as it changes even for me, but the wisdom is in understanding the process. I encourage you to think for yourself and try them out before eventually sticking to what has proved to work for you. N.B Ensure to follow the guidelines outlined by an expert, specially tailored to suit the individual requirements of your skin type and try getting a professional facial done at least once in three months.

NIGHT REGIMEN
At night the skin needs rejuvenation and regeneration treatments.
1. CLEAN
I take a warm shower with "Dr. Bronner's 18 in 1 Hemp Tea Tree Pure Castile Soap" for my face and body.
It is very liquid-ish in texture but more than effective for numerous skin conditions. Dr. Bronner's 18 in 1 Hemp Tea Tree Pure Castile Soap has saved me the stress of consistent tea tree oil use individually.
It contains other numerous natural oils.
The formulation is just an awesome chemistry.
Must be used with care if using on sensitive skin.
I pat my skin partially dry with a clean cotton towel to lock in moisture with my lotion and other treatments.
2. CLEANSE/TONE
Then next I aim for that squeaky clean skin by applying the;
"Thayers Natural Remedies Facial Toner - Witch Hazel Aloe Vera Formula, Rose Petals Alcohol Free" on a cotton pad and cleansing my face with it.
3. TREATMENT
My night treatment aim is for both rejuvenation and regeneration.
I moisture my skin with "Avila Body Moisturizer" lotion mixed with "Avila carrot oil".
Then apply the "Ambi's Fade Cream for oily skin" on any spots on my face.
Rub my "Burt's Bee Pomegranate Lip Balm" for softer lips.
Pray, then get some beauty rest.
My second phase of the night routine starts when I wake up, anything after midnight to pee or first thing when I wake up in the morning.
Fact states that the circadian rhythm has ties to most changes in the body.
Regeneration of most systems occur during the night time (3:00 am - 5:00 a.m), which is why I drink a big glass of room temperature water (you can add a slice of lemon, cucumber or some mint leaves) alone or with a capsule of multivitamin, and continue to sleep soundly.
MORNING REGIMEN
I wake up and make my daily declarations.
Do a quick fitness routine from an app - female fitness or even if it’s just flexibility movements for 5 - 15 minutes and therapy to train my respiratory muscles breathing in and out.
The skin loves more oxygen than it actually gets.
A good alternative is a daily skin massage which could be incorporated when you apply your face creams and body lotions.
1. CLEAN
I take a warm shower with African black soap on my face and body.
"Avila Natural Black Soap"
I then pat my skin partially dry with a clean cotton towel to lock in moisture with my lotion and other treatments.
Wash the skin appropriately as oil is produced over the night and most likely sweat must have sat on the skin surface predisposing the skin to clog and then breakout.
2. CLEANSE/TONE Yes! you do need to cleanse, even if you had no makeup on overnight. I use the "Garnier SkinActive Miscellar Cleansing Water", which is really mild on my skin with zero alcohol and leaves my skin with it's natural oils, therefore not overtly drying out the skin. Applying with either my hand or a cotton ball. Moisture my skin. Apply a lightweight almost all non-comedogenic makeup, mood lifting fragrance and head out fabulously. During the day also I avoid transmitting germs from the workplace or other patients onto my skin, wash my hands regularly, and sanitize as needed. Hahaha!
I’m laughing because I started writing this article thinking I was going to give a list of all the products I love and use, but if this is not what you expected it to be, then be a little patient, I didn’t either but I love where it’s going.
WEEKLY Twice a week I scrub my face at night with ”St Ives Acne Control Apricot Scrub with oil free salicylic acid acne medication”, Then cleanse with ”Clearasil Rapid Rescue Deep Treatment Pads” Next apply ”Freeman Oil Absorbing Mint + Lemon Clay Mask” Wash off with warm water and apply ”Benzolyn Peroxide 10%”. Sunscreen protection is very essential the next day. *Once a week I steam before each scrub too.
